![]() Your target line would look something like this: 'C:Program FilesDiablo IIDiablo II.exe' -w -nofixaspect I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? 05:05 AMPosted by Adding the option -3dfx (instead of -nofixaspect) will let you play in full screen mode without distorting the the graphics. To expand it further after maximizing the window, you can add -nofixaspect after the -w. Make sure that you have a space between the.exe' and the -w. If you don't want it any more, you will have to exit out of the game and delete the -w from the shortcut. In the target box after the last quotation, press the space bar once and type in -w Your target line should look something like 'C:Program FilesDiablo IIDiablo II.exe' -w When you start the game, the game should now be in a window. To play Diablo II: Lord of Destruction in windowed mode: Right click on the Diablo II: Lord of Destruction shortcut and choose properties. That can be adjusted for by adding -nofixaspect to the command line that starts the game as described below. This will leave black bars on the sides if you use a widescreen monitor. Personally, I find it best to run the game in windowed mode and then expand it as you would any other windowed app. You can try different compatibility modes by editing the game executable under the Windows properties but it should't be necessary. There are no special patches for the game to allow for Windows 10 compatibility really. On some systems, that's going to be scaled to fit the entire screen and on others (more rarely), it's going to be forced into a window. Arkealious, Diablo II can only be played in 640 by 480 (Classic) or 800 by 600 (Expansion) resolutions.
